2.2 Service Limitations

We provide consulting and guidance services only. ISO Certified does not:

  • Issue ISO certificates (certificates are issued by accredited certification bodies)
  • Guarantee certification success (certification decisions rest with independent certification bodies)
  • Conduct official certification audits (performed by accredited third-party certification bodies)
  • Represent ourselves as an accredited certification body

2.3 Certification Process

Actual ISO certification is performed by independent, accredited certification bodies. Our role is to prepare organizations for successful certification through expert consultation and guidance.


3. Engagement Terms

3.1 Service Agreement

Specific services, deliverables, timelines, and fees are defined in individual Service Agreements or Proposals provided to clients. These Terms supplement but do not replace specific Service Agreements.

3.2 Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about their organization
  • Grant reasonable access to personnel, facilities, and documentation
  • Allocate appropriate internal resources for implementation
  • Participate actively in the certification process
  • Meet agreed-upon deadlines and milestones
  • Pay fees according to agreed payment terms

3.3 Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information, documentation, and business practices. Client information is used solely for providing agreed services and is not disclosed to third parties except as required by law or with explicit client consent.


4. Fees and Payment Terms

4.1 Service Fees

Fees for consulting services are specified in individual Service Agreements or Proposals. Fees may be structured as:

  • Fixed project fees
  • Hourly consulting rates
  • Monthly retainer arrangements
  • Phase-based milestone payments

4.2 Payment Terms

Unless otherwise specified in Service Agreements:

  • Initial payment or deposit may be required before services commence
  • Invoices are due within 30 days of issue date
  • Late payments may incur interest charges at 10% per month
  • Services may be suspended for accounts more than 30 days overdue

4.3 Additional Costs

Client is responsible for:

  • Certification body audit fees (paid directly to certification body)
  • Travel expenses if on-site consultation is required
  • Translation services if needed
  • Any third-party services not included in Service Agreement

4.4 Refund Policy

Service fees are non-refundable once services have commenced, except in cases where we are unable to provide agreed services. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.


5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Materials

All materials, templates, methodologies, and content provided by ISO Certified remain our intellectual property. Clients receive limited license to use these materials for their internal certification purposes only.

5.2 Client Materials

All client-specific documentation, information, and materials remain the client’s intellectual property. We claim no ownership of client materials.

5.3 Website Content

All content on www.isocertified.in including text, graphics, logos, and software is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.


6. Warranties and Disclaimers

6.1 Service Warranty

We warrant that services will be performed professionally and competently in accordance with industry standards. However, we do not guarantee:

  • Successful certification outcome
  • Specific timeline for certification achievement
  • Acceptance by any particular certification body or regulatory authority
  • That implementation will resolve all organizational challenges

6.2 No Guarantee of Results

ISO certification depends on:

  • Client implementation of recommended practices
  • Independent certification body assessment
  • Organizational commitment and resources
  • Compliance with ISO standard requirements

We cannot guarantee certification success as the final decision rests with independent certification bodies.

6.3 Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.


7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Direct Damages

Our total liability for any claims arising from services provided shall not exceed the total fees paid by client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

7.2 Indirect Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits or business opportunities
  • Business interruption losses
  • Loss of data or information
  • Costs of procurement of substitute services

7.3 Exceptions

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any liability that cannot be excluded by law

8. Term and Termination

8.1 Service Term

Services continue until completion of agreed deliverables or as specified in Service Agreement.

8.2 Termination by Client

Client may terminate services with 30 days written notice. Client remains responsible for payment of:

  • All services rendered prior to termination
  • Any committed expenses or third-party costs
  • Early termination fees if specified in Service Agreement

8.3 Termination by Company

We may terminate services immediately if:

  • Client fails to pay fees when due
  • Client breaches material terms of agreement
  • Client requests services contrary to professional standards
  • Continuation would violate legal or ethical obligations

8.4 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • All unpaid fees become immediately due
  • Client retains work product delivered prior to termination
  • We return client materials within reasonable timeframe
  • Confidentiality obligations continue indefinitely

9. Use of Website

ISO standards are periodically revised. We provide guidance based on current standard versions. Clients are responsible for monitoring and implementing future standard changes.


12. Dispute Resolution

With client consent, we may use client name, logo, and project information for:

  • Marketing and promotional materials
  • Case studies and success stories
  • Website testimonials
  • Industry presentations

14.2 Client Approval

We obtain written approval before publicly referencing specific client engagements. Clients may revoke consent with reasonable notice.

Project timelines are estimates based on typical implementations. Actual timelines depend on:
